Lazy Sunday in San Antonio

I know I know Sunday afternoon is perfect for laying on the couch and watching NFL football. Or is it not. Well I know that Sunday is the day when you should rest and recuperate and save your strength for the next day ahead. But please if you ideal place for rest is the couch I think that you should think this over a bit. Did you ever heard about active relaxing, it sounds paradoxical but it is not. So if you are up for some active relaxation I will suggest you a few things that you can do In San Antonio during the Sunday afternoon.

The first thing you cold do is to visit the famous or infamous Hall of Horns. Of course this hall is very infamous to the animal rights guys. But well this is Texas. This is a great place if you just want to walk around and see some interesting stuff without using much effort. This place has one whole room devoted to some strange animals with abnormal features. It's a really cool thing to go and see. But I advise you to enter at your risk.

Then if you are not up for some dead animals and horns you could take o tour down at San Antonio River. The trip is about two miles and it goes next to the River Walk. So in the same time you are sitting and enjoying the river but in the other hand you are viewing the vibrant street life of the River Walk. This trip may sound ordinarily but it is full of paradoxes.

And if you really prefer the stillness the you should visit the Japanese tea garden and enjoy the scenery of the beautiful ponds. This place is great for meditation and relaxation.

Try some of this stuff, it's fun. If you are planning to visit the city, you should book your San Antonio hotel very soon this season!

How to behave like a real Texan

You need to watch out. When you cross the border to the state of Texas it is as if you have entered a new world. A new realm of existing. In case you have not noticed in Texas everything is much bigger than usual. Everything is excessive and really that is something that i love about this state. From hamburgers to highways everything is big. If you stay some time in Texas you will be begin to enjoy the excessiveness. Until then I will spill out some of my best proven tips that will help you to fit in Texas like a real pro. You know nobody will recognize that you are not from Texas. Well they will, I am kidding.

Well the first tip on my mind is that you should definitely dress like a Texan. And what does that mean - cowboy hats and cowboy boots. For both male and female. Make sure you look as close to a western cowboy as you can and then overdo it - congratulations you now like a real Texan. Now you are ready to stay book your San Antonio hotel and have a great visit!

Then some important tips about driving. Make sure that you drive friendly and wave at all the other drivers. If you do not have a pickup truck or some other big car i advise you to buy it or rent it. And do it as soon as possible. Other way you will be pushed from the road. Kiddin.

And one more important thing. You should learn how to eat like a real Texan. Learn to enjoy the excessive chilly spices and everything that is fried. Forget about raw foods, only heavy foods hear. But i can tell you they taste great. The blend of Tex and Mex influences has made Texan cuisine really special.

I think that these tips are more than enough to get you started. Enjoy your Texas trip!
